GB NEWS EXCLUSIVE KATIE PRICE: “I HIT ROCK BOTTOM AND I TRIED TO KILL MYSELF…”

KATIE Price has admitted she tried to end her life saying: “I hit rock bottom.”
In an exclusive interview with GB News the 44-year-old also spoke about her battle with bankruptcy, and her ongoing fight with mental ill health.
Bravely opening up to Mark Dolan, she said she was having therapy once a week and how, at her lowest point, she’d tried to commit suicide.
But the mother-of-five said her darkest days are behind her – and that she was on way back.
In her first TV interview for two years, she also told GB News:
*She’d love to have more children, hinting news on NUMBER SIX could be coming soon.
*How she almost died after falling 20 feet into an underground car park following an accident on holiday, admitting: “I’m probably lucky to be alive”.
*The injuries she sustained in that horror fall mean she will suffer mobility issues for life.
*Her bankruptcy wasn’t something she felt ashamed of and that it had helped her to reset.
*She has plans to now bounce back and emerge better than ever insisting: “I am a “born survivor”.
During her interview on Friday evening on Mark Dolan Tonight she said: “What I want from the future is to definitely make a comeback and prove to people I can. Because I’ve been there, and I’ve told my story.
“Literally, I hit rock bottom. It was that bad that I tried to commit suicide, but I’ve come up from that.”
Offering advice to others she continued: “Remember, nothing is that bad. It’s just when you’re in that bad place your mind ruminates and you think you can’t get out of that rut, but you can do it. If I can do it, you can do it.
“So, I want to bring my perfumes out, my make-up range, underwear line, and sell my swimwear, calendars. I want to do everything I used to do, but this time I haven’t got a manager to do it. I’m doing it myself.”
Katie also said she wanted more children, teased about an upcoming TV project and revealed that she has therapy every week: “I would love more kids, actually, you need to look out for Channel 4 because there’s a surprise coming this year…
“But do you know what the best thing I do now is? I have therapy every week. I wish I’d had it years ago. I know what my triggers are now, like on Instagram and stuff you’ll notice I don’t really attack anyone or do anything anymore because where’s it going to get me? It doesn’t get you anywhere.
“So, now, even if I receive a text from someone and I want to go on and have a go, I’ll think about it, and then I just don’t bother. And it has helped a lot, yeah.”
She added: “I’ve had a lot of trauma. Ex-husbands have been traumatic, I broke my feet, my mum is ill, there’s just quite a lot of things.
“I’ve had kidnap threats, ransom demands, it has just all happened. My therapist actually said to me he’s never met someone who’s had so much actual real trauma-events happen in their life as me.
“Sometimes one person might have one bit of trauma and they’re affected, I’ve had loads.”
Revealing how she nearly died after breaking her feet in a fall whilst on holiday larking around with her kids she said: “I was on holiday with the children while I was getting my teeth done.
“I just jumped over a bush in the dark and I fell 20 feet and dropped into an underground carpark. And well I’m lucky to be alive actually.”
But Katie told Mark she was a survivor: “I look younger than I am and it’s quite amazing when I look at all I have actually done in my career.
“I’m still here and I don’t know why I’m still here. Look I’ve definitely had my ups and definitely had my downs, but I am a survivor.
On her bankruptcy, she said: “I never discuss money, but to anyone who’s out there in a bankruptcy – it’s not the end of the world, you know. Lots of people go into bankruptcies and I think it’s quite positive that I’m in a bankruptcy, actually. It’s made me reevaluate things and put things straight so I’m happy and everything in my life is in place. Never be embarrassed about being in a bankruptcy at all. But all I know is just don’t have fights with people because the lawyers are the ones who get the money.”
Katie also revealed how fellow celeb and close pal Kerry Katona persuaded her to set up shop on the racy Only Fans website.
“Kerry was trying to get me to do it ages ago and I’m glad I’ve done it now,” she said. “And I’m glad Kerry is in a good place now too and turned herself around and I’m really pleased for her. She’s one of the many people who’s been around ages and she’s still there.”
Asked about her recent operation to enlarge her breasts and if she would consider more surgery, she said: “Oh my god, that’s just a no brainer, isn’t it? What do you think?
“Of course, these boobs are actually the freakiest I’ve ever been. They are 2120cc but the thing is, in the daytime when you see me people can’t understand why I’ve had them done because I never show them unless it’s for Only Fans, but I do it for myself not for the jobs.
“If there’s anyone out there who wants to get their boobs done – do it for yourself, not for anyone else or for your career.”
