Harry and Meghan may be on the verge of splitting, claims Samantha Markle

THE sister of the Duchess of Sussex has claimed Meghan is at loggerheads with Prince Harry and they are both determined to undermine the King’s coronation.

Speaking exclusively to GB News, Samantha Markle urged her half-sister to stop attempting to pull focus from King Charles’ forthcoming Coronation and to concentrate instead on fixing her own relationship and building bridges with her family.

Asked by Dan Wootton to comment on Meghan and Harry’s awkward recent outing at a basketball match, during which Meghan appeared to rebuff her husband’s attempt to kiss her, Samantha said, “Well I think any body language expert would say it’s so different and so inconsistent with her character.

“Previously in all the photographs she was always pining over him, putting her hands all over him, grabbing his hands, grabbing his back.

“This is different. This is seemingly a statement on her part that she’s not all that touchy feely right now. But it’s kind of sad. It’s telling the rest of the world, all of us, that they are at an impasse.

“Maybe they’re making decisions to part – they have to work that out, but in the meantime, they have to work out how they treat everybody around them, not only for the past, but moving forward. So hopefully, maybe counselling intervention could help.”

Samantha believes her sister’s recent re-emergence in the public eye had been carefully orchestrated: “Well, I can’t speak for her, it seems like a PR opportunity in close proximity to the coronation.

“I’m just going to say that she and Harry are notorious for channelling Diana. And I wondered to myself, what would Diana say at a time like this? I can’t help but believe she’d say, ‘Harry, Meghan, Shush. Just allow your father and Queen Camilla to be happy and to enjoy this.”

“Our family certainly didn’t want anything going on to upstage the coronation and my father has extended his well-wishes and blessings. Moving forward, it’s going to be an exciting time and it should be allowed to be.”

On the forthcoming coronation, she added: “They need to just step back. Keep all of the drama aside and be considerate, be unselfish, be loving, be forgiving for what you hold in the way of a grudge and just move forward.

“And, if you can’t do that, well, I don’t know what to tell you. Shame on you! Grow up. Let go. Everybody says, ‘let Harry and Meghan live and let live,’ well that works both ways, so, let’s see if they can do it.”

She said her father Thomas would like to speak to her: “Yes, he’d love to be able to speak to Meghan and make things better. But he’s not responsible solely for fixing it. I think the burden is on her and on Harry to make things right with the Royal Family and with our family.’

“Meghan always said, ‘be the change you want to see in the world.’ Well talk is cheap. Do it. Be the change you want to see means being accountable. I think my father and King Charles sadly can wear brave faces but it’s always hurtful.”
