Holly Willoughby is the ‘fakest person in TV’ says Petronella Wyatt
HOLLY Willoughby is the “fakest person in TV”, journalist and socialite Petronella Wyatt has claimed.
She told Dan Wootton on GB News: “I once wrote something humorous about her. Turns out that she had no sense of humour at all. I’ve met a lot of fakes, but she’s certainly the fakest person I’ve met in TV. Definitely.”
She also claimed Phillip Schofield was responsible for the untimely death of one of her friends, who he “exposed” on air within a list of suspected paedophiles during an infamous interview with David Cameron.
Ms Wyatt said: “Something terrible happened to a friend of mine and it led to his early death.
“[It was] when Schofield got out a list of alleged paedophiles in the Tory party and it was completely unresearched. He sprung it on David Cameron and it was most unprofessional.
“It turned out to be complete lies, but he managed to angle it so the names were seen on TV. One of the names was the name of a very old friend of mine, and as a result of this, he was in poor health, but he died earlier than he should have done because of the stress. I think these people are awful. They have no sense of responsibility.
“They have far too much power and they’re not good journalists. And I don’t think television is all about entertainment because it’s there to inform as well.”
