Hood London launches 12 Piccadilly Arcade

HOOD LONDON is delighted to announce a month-long pop up at 12 Piccadilly Arcade this November. 12 Piccadilly Arcade is located between iconic Piccadilly and Jermyn Street – one of the most fashionable and historic streets in London.

Designed by Adèle Mildred and Gabrielle Djanogly, HOOD LONDON will be officially open Saturday 5th November presenting their AW22 collection and iconic eyewear collaboration.

Since 2019, the brand has done yearly collaborations with the iconic Dita Von Teese, and will be launching their third collection to date at the pop up space on Friday 18th November.

The label’s first bricks and mortar store will allow clients to experience the brand like never before, being able to try on classic pieces including the Lula heart beret and the Bergman – their signature fedora, while offering an insight to the details that underpin the eco-conscious duo’s on modern silhouettes, craftswomanship and sustainability.

The brand has also previously collaborated with leading British fashion designer Richard Quinn, while HOOD LONDON brand ambassadors include renowned creative figures Kate Beckinsale, Caroline Issa, Eleanor Tomlinson, Lou Dillon, Kat Von D and Ellen von Unwerth.

“Being in such a historically fashion focused part of London for our first ever pop up is incredibly exciting. We make hats that we want to wear. Most women have a pair of shoes and a bag that they treasure, their ‘go-to’ accessories. We want them to have a hat they love too. Sometimes functional, sometimes frivolous, because dressing-up is part of growing up.”

Since January 2022, Westminster City Council, GPE, Heart of London Business Alliance and Appear Here have hosted a range of emerging creative brands throughout the year, all of whom are passionate about craftsmanship, creativity & sustainability. The brands have been invited for a one month residency to take over the unit at number 12 Piccadilly Arcade and deliver a pop up boutique. Hood London will be the 11th brand in the series of 12 in 2022.

As well as showcasing their current AW22 collection, the 12 Piccadilly Arcade pop up will be HOOD LONDON’s first time with a store space giving customers the opportunity to meet the designers themselves. To add to the magic in November, Hood London is welcoming wig maker and hair stylist extraordinaire, Sarah Necia, to the pop up every weekend in November to style hair in the basement of 12 Piccadilly Arcade – by appointment only. Sarah has the most dazzling client list and has made wigs for Rita Ora, Dita von Teese, Richard Quinn and Dolly Parton to name a few.
