HOUSEBUILDER UNVEILS SHOW HOME FOLLOWING HIGH DEMAND AT CHERTSEY DEVELOPMENT
Following high demand after an off-plan launch late last year, local housebuilder Barratt Homes will unveil its show home ahead of schedule at its Eldebury Place development on Hanworth Lane in Chertsey, Surrey.
Barratt Southern Counties will open the doors to its three-bedroom show home on Saturday 27th February, offering buyers an opportunity to see first-hand the homes available at Eldebury Place. The show home will allow buyers to see the layout and space available in these much-awaited homes.
Set across three floors, the Norbury house type has been designed to demonstrate flexible family living. The stylish new home offers an open-plan living/dining area, two double bedrooms on the first floor, and a spacious main bedroom with dressing area and en-suite on the top floor.
Lynnette St-Quintin, Sales and Marketing Director at Barratt Southern Counties, comments: “Since launching off-plan just a few months ago, we have seen a number of sales at Eldebury Place from both first time buyers and those hoping to upsize. Due to high demand, we have decided to unveil our show home early, which we hope will allow buyers to get a feel for the space and layout of the Norbury.
“The Norbury has been designed with flexible living in mind to accommodate all arrangements, with three spacious double bedrooms that can easily be adapted for homeworking or learning. What’s more, all homes have access to fibre optic broadband, guaranteeing a faster and more reliable connection once residents have installed their internet.”
Eldebury Place has been commended the ‘Built for Life’ award, an independent accreditation that recognises well-designed new homes, neighbourhoods and communities. The judges were particularly impressed with the development’s proximity to the High Street, which is within walking distance. Although the first residents are not expected to move in until March, prospective buyers can virtually view both the homes available and the wider development.
Lynnette St-Quintin adds: “In addition to offering buyers the opportunity to view our homes in-person, we also have a range of technology available to customers which really helps to bring the development to life. Customers can book a virtual tour with our Sales Advisers and experience a development flythrough and 360 street views on an interactive site plan.”
Eldebury Place is set close to Guildford Street in Chertsey, where residents can find a variety of shops, banks and cafes, alongside a good choice of restaurants and bars. Thorpe Park is also just a short drive away.
The development is a short walk from Chertsey Rail Station, from which London Waterloo and Weybridge can be reached in around 48 and 28 minutes. There are also a number of local bus routes connecting residents to Woking, Addlestone and Kingston-upon-Thames. For journeys by car, key roads including the M3, M25 and A320 are nearby, providing access to key destinations including Woking, Staines-upon-Thames and Heathrow Airport.
Currently available at Eldebury Place is a collection of three and four-bedroom homes, with prices starting from £494,995 for a three-bedroom townhouse. A number of new homes are available to NHS employees through Barratt’s NHS Deposit Contribution Scheme. Launched in summer 2020, the scheme allows NHS employees to receive up a five per cent deposit boost to the value of £15,000.
