Inquest into the death of Sultana Razia Choudhury aged 60
An inquest is due to be held on Wednesday 19 July 2023 into the death of Sultana Razia Choudhury who died aged 60 at Whipps Cross Hospital, Leytonstone, on 17 December 2022.
Sultana, who was married with children and lived in Walthamstow, died 10 days after she underwent a kidney biopsy for the purposes of clinical research at the Royal London Hospital on 7 December 2022. On 14 December Sultana was admitted to Whipps Cross Hospital after attending the A&E department in considerable pain. She died three days later on Birch Ward.
Sultana’s family are represented by Leigh Day solicitor Frankie Rhodes.
The inquest will be held at East London Coroner’s Court, 124 Queens Rd, London E17 8QP from 10am.
