Inspirational coaches, entrepreneurs and business owners have been recognised for their achievements in public speaking at an awards ceremony in London.

The Professional Speakers Academy (PSA) has honoured its members and their achievements at its annual awards ceremony at the Riverside venue at Heathrow. Awards were given out in categories including Best Male Speaker, Best Female Speaker, Best Personal Story and Best Unique Branded Solution.

Speakers who have successfully made six, seven and eight figures using PSA’s Serve and Sell system, designed to show people how they can attract clients and make money from sharing their stories, were also presented with awards at the event. Three people – Mark Vurnum, Paul McFadden and Jonathan Jay – were given the prestigious eight-figure award for making at least £10 million each.

Andy Harrington, who founded The Professional Speakers Academy, said: “It was wonderful to see so many people with important and inspirational messages to share with the world all together under one roof. Our members are doing amazing every day and it’s an honour to celebrate their achievements.”

Among those given awards at the event, which took place on November 30, was Saleem Shafi, who used the process taught by PSA to raise more than £1 million in donations for charity.

Carl Reynolds also received a seven-figure award for making more than £1 million through his presentations selling property training courses. When he had first joined PSA’s initial training, he had lacked confidence in his ability to lead and train others due to his dyslexia but his business thrived after he developed his public speaking skills at the academy.

Another PSA member who has successfully reached the million-pound milestone was Miles Grant. He was sofa-surfing and living at the back of his friend’s gym when he first came through PSA’s training but he now delivers accredited life coach training and has now gone on to make more than £1 million in sales from the stage.
