KANO ATTENDS THE DUPPY SHARE’S CARIBBEAN THEMED PARTY TO CELEBRATE NATIONAL RUM DAY

To celebrate National Rum Day, award-winning rum brand, The Duppy Share opened its rum-way to transport fans to a one-of-a-kind Caribbean experience in Notting Hill. Co-founder and British rapper, Kano attended the event on Tuesday to celebrate with fans.

Transforming two locations into a truly unforgettable Caribbean experience, the Duppy Share served up ice-cold rum cocktails, spiced Jerk Chicken and the best of reggae and dancehall tunes to commemorate the day.

The success of the event aligns with Brits love for the spirit continues to grow, with sales up by 51% since 2019[1]. More and more rum fans are using the spirit to create their favourite cocktails at home, including The Duppy Share’s staple recipes from Golden Mojito, Pina Colada and Daiquiris.

Londoners who arrived in Notting Hill and spotted the ‘Duppy Sh-Air-Ways’ sign on Portobello Road could get their hands on a Boarding Pass, offering free entry, drink tokens and directions to the hidden London location.

Greeted by cabin crew members as they entered The Duppy Share’s very-own ‘Airport’ at The Portobello Star, rum fans then entered the Caribbean-themed party at Rogers Arcade to enjoy live music from London DJ’s, Becca Dudley, and Sir DJ Corey, with an exclusive appearance from Kano.

This summer, Duppy White has teamed up with Jamaican soda staple Ting to launch a brand new ready-to-drink cocktail: Duppy Ting-A-Ling. As the top-selling premium rum drink in the UK last year, Duppy White is the latest addition to Duppy Share’s rum family.

Available to purchase online at www.theduppyshare.com and via Deliveroo at Turtle Bay across the UK, rum lovers can purchase a can of Duppy Ting-A-Ling (250ml) for £2.50.
