Local homebuilder supports five charities across Yorkshire with £5,000 in donations
Local homebuilder, Barratt Developments Yorkshire West has continued to support the communities in which it builds by donating £5,000 to five charities across Yorkshire as part of its Community Fund initiative.
Barratt Developments Yorkshire West, which includes the Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes brands, has supported five charities thanks to its Community Fund initiative which sees the home builder donate £1,000 to a different local charity or organisation each month.
Local causes that have been supported over the course of the first half of 2021 include: TSV Gymnastics in Cleckheaton, Thornes Juniors Football in Wakefield, Skillz Academy for Girls in Barnsley, Pigs in the Woods in Huddersfield and MHA Mapplewell Manor in Barnsley. The donation has helped each organisation continue its important work to support communities across the region.
Ian Ruthven, Managing Director of Barratt Developments Yorkshire West, said: “We are always looking for ways to continue to support the communities in which we build, so we are thrilled that we were able to support these incredibly important charities and organisations through our Community Fund.
“All of these organisations make a significant impact and difference in communities throughout the region, so we are really looking forward to seeing how the donations will help each of them continue to do their important work.
We look forward to working with more charities and organisations across the region who will benefit from our Community Fund throughout 2021.”
