London office provider Argyll caps off £27m refurbishment with signature scent

Argyll, London’s most exclusive office provider, has today announced the launch of a bespoke branded scent, created by British perfumer Azzi Glasser, to be rolled out across its portfolio.

Perfumer to the stars and creator of signature scents for some of London’s most renowned venues, such as The Mandrake Hotel, The Chiltern Firehouse and Annabel’s, Azzi Glasser has worked with the office provider to create its own signature fragrance. Designed to capture the traditionally British essence of Argyll’s prestigious buildings, the scent also nods to the company’s modernisation plans. Having begun the extensive refurbishment of seven of its buildings last year, Argyll has introduced this scent to build on its vision of modern, classic offices with a boutique, residential feel.

Argyll’s uniquely unbranded buildings will be brought together by this new scent, ensuring that clients will subtly recognise an Argyll building as soon as they step foot over the threshold, without disrupting businesses’ own brands.

The hand-selected ingredients embody freshness, as well as sophistication and comfort, adding to the benefits of Argyll’s recent refurbishment designed to enhance its premium standards and reinvent the office experience. Earthy tones in the fragrance evoke the gardens of many of Argyll’s prime London addresses, while notes of laurel, vetivert and cedar add a charismatic soul. As with the refurbishment, the scent showcases the legacy of Argyll’s iconic buildings whilst upgrading this with a modern edge.

Diffusers and hand soaps will also be rolled out across Argyll’s 30-strong portfolio.

Commenting on the new scent, Emily Smith, COO of Argyll, said: “Our signature scent is the finishing touch to the extensive refurbishment that we began last year. It provides a distinction that sets Argyll apart, not only from other office providers, but also other landmark buildings in London, creating a unique experience for our clients. It was a pleasure to partner with Azzi on this project and we are thrilled with the results.”

Commenting on her new creation, Azzi Glasser, Founder of The Perfumer’s Story, added: “We based the composition of the scent on the heritage of the Argyll brand whilst ensuring that it suited the new direction of the newly renovated offices. It was such an interesting and unique brief to work on – I’m delighted the team are so happy with the finished product.”
