Meghan’s ‘bizarre’ PR strategy is to copy Princess Diana, says royal expert
MEGHAN Markle may be trying to hijack the 25th anniversary of Princess Diana’s death in order to gain publicity for herself, a royal expert has claimed.
Commenting on Meghan’s article in The Cut magazine, Kinsey Schofield said: “This is a magazine that clearly has no respect for the British Royal Family, because they have spoken about completely not true rumours about the Cambridge family, and affairs that could have possibly gone on.
“This is a gossipy magazine that is not pro royal family. So I think it’s very interesting that Meghan chose this outlet of all outlets to go to when she could have had Vanity Fair, she could have had Vogue.”
Speaking during Breakfast with Eamonn Holmes and Isabel Webster on GB News, she added: “People that follow the Royal Family, they’re typically very good humans, kind human beings.
“I’ve never heard them say anything aggressive or hateful about Harry and Meghan’s children, let alone something racist.
“She says that Prince Harry no longer has a relationship with his father, which Prince Charles sources are saying is not exactly true and that hurts Prince Charles to hear that.
“I don’t think that this is the last we’re going to hear from Meghan Markle, her podcast with Mariah Carey drops later today, so we have a lot more coming from Meghan, so people should brace themelves.”
Kinsey said: “I do wonder if there’s a strategy behind it where it’s the 25th anniversary of Princess Diana’s death she’s going to be on magazine covers, so let’s get Meghan on magazine covers so that people compare the two.
“Also, I don’t know if you saw the picture on the cover of The Cut, it looks exactly like a picture that Princess Diana took in a black turtleneck.
“It is bizarre, and we’ve seen her on multiple occasions try to dress like Princess Diana. It is bizarre.
“Does Prince Harry not look at her and say ‘that looks an awful lot like something my mother would wear?’”
She added: “It’s devastating and Prince Harry should be remembering his mother and should be connecting with his brother in the next few hours.
“Unfortunately, because of this bombshell interview, and because of an upcoming podcast and 12 weeks of podcasts, that’s not very likely.”
Kinsey said: “In the States, there is something so romantic about a Prince and a Princess. I think that we are still so lost in this storyline…
“She is just wrapped up in this victimhood and at some point people are going to get tired of hearing about a woman complaining from her million dollar mansion.”
