Metropolitan Pub Company opens new flagship restaurant and bar, Langbourns, in the heart of London

Langbourns is set to open its doors on November 19 after a full refurbishment – offering drinks and dining in an elegant setting.

Located on Gracechurch Street in the City of London, the venue has undergone a drastic makeover, including a full redecoration – inside and out.

The bar and restaurant is named after the ancient ward of London in which it sits, Langbourn, which is believed to have a buried stream, also called Langbourn, running beneath it.

Located in the heart of London’s financial district, Langbourns will cater to City workers, locals and tourists alike, offering a curated cocktail list and an oyster bar.

Whether you’re looking for a glass of champagne and oysters after shopping, a place to celebrate a special occasion or somewhere to hold corporate meets, Langbourns caters to all.

The sophisticated restaurant and bar is also the perfect spot for grabbing a bite to eat, offering a range of fish and seafood, as well as fresh food off the grill, and a selection of small plates.

Michael Horan, managing director of Metropolitan Pub Company, said: ‘The City of London is steeped in history, which is why we chose the name Langbourns for our latest addition to the Metropolitan Pub Company family.

Named after the ancient ward in which it sits, Langbourns will offer an elegant and relaxed environment for people from all walks of life in London.

‘After a lot of time, hard work and effort, we can’t wait to welcome you through our doors.’
