Modern British kids have visited FOUR European Cities

Modern British kids have visited FOUR European Cities, flown long haul three times and been skiing TWICE – all before their tenth birthday, according to a new study.

Researchers looked at the travel habits of the average child now, compared to previous generations and revealed today’s youngsters have seen almost as much of the world in their first TEN years, then their grandparents did in an entire lifetime.

In fact, the study showed the average child has been abroad SIX times before their tenth birthday, while their grandparents have only been abroad eight times in their life.

And the majority of parents polled claimed that, while travel is a normal part of their own child’s life, they only ventured out of the country twice before the age of ten – and never further afield than Europe.
