Net worth of the potential next Tory leader

Since Boris Johnson announced that he will step down as Prime Minister the race has started for Conservative MPs to become the next Tory leader.

With a net worth of over £200 million Rishi Sunak tops the list. His salary as Chancellor of the Exchequer was £151,649. Before he went into politics he was a hedge fund manager and is believed to have earned £100k/year throughout his career. Meanwhile, his wife is estimated to have a net worth of over £500million.
Nadhim Zahawi, who replaced Mr Sunak as Chancellor just last week, has an estimated net worth of over £100 million. It was revealed that prior to entering politics, Mr Zahawi earned over £1.3 million from one role.

Jeremy Hunt takes the third spot, with an estimated net worth of £14 million.

However, both Nadhim Zahawi and Jeremy Hunt were knocked out of the race yesterday.
