A live-action, Riverdale-esque take on the beloved Italian animated show Winx Club, the Netflix series follows a group of Fairies who attend a magical boarding school called Alfea in the Otherworld, where they must learn to master their magical powers while navigating love, rivalries, and the monsters that threaten their very existence. One noticeable character missing from the Netflix take of the show was ‘Flora’ (Chávez), a vital member from the original series and Season 2 of the series brings her triumphant debut. ‘Flora’ is sweet, friendly, and shy. She’s often very passive and non-confrontational, which shows in her use of magic and sometimes comes at the expense of her self-esteem. Above all, Flora is an extremely nurturing person and cares deeply for the Earth and nature, but also for people, particularly her friends. She struggles to believe in herself and her abilities but has no issue in believing the best about the other members of the Winx Club. Season 2 of the fan-favorite series is currently streaming.

In Netflix’s “The Expanding Universe of Ashley Garcia”, When ‘) – Chávez starred as ‘Ashley Garcia’, the world’s only 15-and-a-half-year-old robotics, genius engineer and rocket scientist, who gets the chance to work for NASA and moves across the country to live with her fun-loving ‘Uncle Victor’ (Jencarlos Canela). Chávez also recently starred In Lifetime’s holiday film “Feliz NaviDAD where she played a daughter who makes it her mission to help her father (played by Mario Lopez) rediscover his Christmas spirit after the loss of their beloved wife and mother. The film was written by Peter Murrieta (“Wizards of Wavery Place”, “One Day at a Time” and “Cristela”) with Melissa Joan Hart directing.
