Vegans come out on top with highest scoring aphrodisiac meal plan

It’s good news for vegans who can expect lots of bedroom action as the vegan meal plan tops the list as the highest aphrodisiac with a total score of 324; followed by the meat eater plan (321) and vegetarian plan (316).

However, when it comes to date night, it seems being a carnivore is the way to go if you’re looking for action between the sheets! The three-course dinner option for meat eaters scores 241 compared to 209 for veggies and 227 for vegans.

According to nutritionist Lily Soutter “zinc rich foods such as oysters have long been dubbed aphrodisiacs, as this nutrient is required for testosterone production.”

Opt for a delicious bowl of pesto pasta packed with arginine-rich foods (an alternative to Viagra which helps to dilate blood vessels) such as pine nuts, basil, and olive oil if you’re a vegetarian or vegan.

Soutter further explains that “it’s important to choose foods which genuinely make you feel good. Whether that’s strawberries dipped in chocolate or a glass of champagne, foods that put a smile on your face tend to be the sexiest.”
