Paul Lawrie OBE to star at the Farmfoods European Legends Links Championship!

This year’s Farmfoods European Legends Links Championship is set to welcome a number of golfing legends to Trevose Golf & Country Club from European Tour winners to Ryder Cup icons.
One man who fits into both these categories is Scottish professional Paul Lawrie OBE who is set to compete in the event. Paul shot to fame in 1999 when he clinched victory in the Open, narrowly beating Justin Leonard and Jean van de Velde to the Open Championship title.
As well as this he has won eight European Tour events and been a member of two Ryder Cup teams including 2012’s iconic ‘Miracle in Medinah.’
Paul will be joined at the event by 1991 Masters winner Ian Woosnam OBE who is the event host.
Some of the biggest names from the Staysure Tour will also be in attendance for the four-day event which takes place between 20–23 June.
