Peckham Arches new seasonal BBQ Grill
Following the highly successful launch of Peckham Arches in recent months, the alfresco hotspot is thrilled to have finalised their impactful new food concept, bringing open-fire middle Eastern inspired BBQ cooking to South East London. Adding to the bustling and ever-growing social food scene of Peckham, the 2.5m BBQ grill will showcase open-fire cookery at its best, alongside two large cocktail bars, private events spaces, a gallery with OHSH Projects and a monthly events calendar of live music, DJ’s and more.
Bringing a strong neighbourhood and community feel to the area, the new menu will focus on having seasonal and local ingredients at the core. Leading on the menu development, Head Chef James Browne – who has drawn inspiration from his experience cooking on open fires in Carolina – has produced a menu that exudes bold flavours – expect large cuts of meats, fish and vegetables that are seasoned to perfection and flame grilled on the open fire.
Ever-evolving in line with the seasons, the new menu will change regularly to celebrate the very best produce available. Focusing on small plates, grill dishes and a selection of sides to enjoy, those heading to the Arches this summer can delight in plates such as Charred Squash, served with Yellow Courgettes, Beetroot, Feta and Zaatar (£9), a Half Roasted Chicken, with Nudja Sauce and Roasted Plum Tomato (£14), the show stopping Lamb Kofta, served with Tzatziki, Harrissa, Pickles and homemade oven cooked flatbreads (£16), and a fresh Grilled Whole Sea Bream, seasoned with Chermoula and Lemon (£16)
With a garden terrace that has a capacity for 300 people, Peckham Arches is the perfect space for large groups, parties and private hire this summer. Available for lunch and dinner between Wednesday and Sundays, book your table now to enjoy the new BBQ grill menu at Peckham Arches.
