PLACES LEISURE ARE SPREADING JOY BY INVESTING IN COMMUNITIES THIS FESTIVE SEASON

Places Leisure are getting into the festive spirit and giving back to members of the public this December. Christmas time is all about the gift of giving, and Places Leisure are on a mission to brighten communities, wanting to help ease the load that the winter months can bring.
Places Leisure are making an impact across the UK this December by investing in their surrounding communities, creating active places that empower people to be the healthiest version of themselves. They will be offering initiatives throughout their centres to ensure health and wellbeing is accessible to all, including a variety of free memberships. They’re offering free swimming for all children on the free school meals initiative, allowing children to gain confidence in the water at their chosen centre. By investing in the children within their communities and encouraging them to learn a fundamental life-skill, Places Leisure can support behavioural changes which improve the physical and mental wellbeing of the community. Partnering with Zoggs, Places Leisure will also be offering free pair of goggles to all those participating in this initiative whilst stock lasts.

Places Leisure’s venture to make fitness more accessible does not end there, selected centres are offering juniors aged 11+ attending their courses a free one-month Junior membership. Whether they’re participants in trampolining, swimming, gymnastics, or any other courses on offer, they’ll be able to redeem their free membership. Parents and guardians of the juniors will also be offered a one-month free Premium membership.
Breaking down the fitness barriers faced by communities is a top priority for Places Leisure, alongside all these amazing initiatives selected centres are allowing their members to receive unlimited one-day gym passes to share with their friends or family this festive season.
