PlantSavers Return To Deliver More Than Just Plants This Spring

PlantSavers champion British grown plants, convenient service and delivery, community
support and environmental sustainability. But from their humble roots, planted at the
start of ‘Lockdown One’, they have grown bigger and better, and are once again ready
to help revitalise UK households and their gardens this spring.

Recently relaunching their new website PlantSavers.co.uk, they’ve expanded their
range to now include outdoor plants, house plants, ‘grow your own’ edible plants,
composts, pots & accessories.

You can choose your favourite plants or pick from their curated plant packs (saving you
the hassle of selecting each plant). Plus, there are recommendations based on
conditions, colours and budgets, so it couldn’t be easier to Get Sorted This Spring!

Their energetic team are determined to make the joys of gardening more accessible for
all. Beginner or expert, small budget or lavish taste, indoors or outdoors, large space or
small; everyone is welcome to grow themselves and join the PlantSavers family.

With a focus on beautiful plants and quality service, coupled with wide-reaching social
responsibility measures, it’s no coincidence PlantSavers experienced hyper-growth
during the previous spring season, delivering to almost 20,000 households across
London and raising over £18,000 for ‘Meals for the NHS’ and FareShare.

They now offer delivery across the country and aim to make an even bigger impact with
their efforts in the community (like employing out-of-work musicians and continuing to
donate to groups like ‘NHS Charities Together’).

The PlantSavers team are equally focused on minimising their environmental impact
and making the horticultural industry more sustainable. They specifically partner with
some of the best plant growers across the UK, most of which have had their usual flow
of business impacted by the pandemic. By aligning themselves with these nurseries,
they’ve managed to support the local economy and help minimise waste of perfectly
heathy plants (last year selling over 300,000 specimens, saving them in the process).

Speaking with the founders, Matt Bouloux and Caleb Silcock, they passionately
reflected, “We started PlantSavers to help our local community, British businesses and
the environment during a time of need. It’s grown from strength to strength, and we’re
so proud that with our wider variety and delivery coverage, we can invite everyone to
experience the joys of gardening and be a part of the PlantSavers community.”
