Professor Green Launches First Ever Podcast With Gut Health Supplement Brand Aguulp

Today, British rapper and TV personality Stephen Manderson, AKA Professor Green, is announcing the launch of his first ever podcast ‘Take A Stool’, with his leading liquid-form supplement brand Aguulp.

Take A Stool podcast launches with a three-part series where Pro Green interviews celebrity guests including nation’s favourite fitness coach Joe Wicks MBE, AKA “The Body Coach”, actor, “This Country” star Daisy May Cooper, as well as fellow Aguulp co-founder and “SAAS Who Dares Wins” host, Jason Fox, AKA “Foxy”.

The podcast is a series of relaxed conversations, using the results of the Aguulp Gut Health test each guest has taken (where they send off their own stool sample to test gut health) as a basis for the discussion. The ultimate aim is to get people talking about their health and break taboos around gut issues.

Episode 1 sees Joe Wicks dive into a discussion about his upbringing, experience of food in childhood, and reveals how the more unhealthy food blowouts he has affects his body.

Joe discusses how on the week of taking the test he had been eating poorly, saying: “Obviously I love my healthy food and consistently eat around 80% healthy, but I do have blowouts – where I just want a tub of Ben Jerry’s or I want to eat a whole bag of crisps with some cheese and nachos. Last night, I was up till 2am writing my book so I was raiding the fridge, even eating a cake that was for my daughter Indie’.”

On the subject of the gut test itself Joe adds: “It feels so gross but it’s such a normal thing and, a normal bodily function, but it’s something that’s so hidden – as it’s flushed straight down the toilet we don’t ever talk about it or think about it, or what’s really going on in your gut.”

Professor Green Co-Founder, Aguulp comments: “Take A Stool was a really exciting opportunity for me to enter the podcast arena, something I’ve been wanting to do with Aguulp for a long time, whilst talking about a subject I’m so passionate about. We hope the series inspires you to Take a Stool and join the open conversation around gut health. It’s literally all shits and giggles, around life experiences, health, growing up and everything in-between.”

Research from Mintel suggests 86% of Brits have suffered some sort of gut issue in the past, and gut health is key to both physical and mental wellbeing. Aguulp provides a range of premium gut health liquid supplements, including prebiotic Aguulp for Gut to optimise digestive function and alleviate gut-issue symptoms, and Aguulp Synbiotic, with 50 billion live bacteria to jump-start and rebalance the gut.

Episode 2 with Daisy May Cooper drops next week on May 25th, with the third episode of the trilogy, featuring guest Jason Fox dropping on June 1st.
