Pub in the Park announces all star chefs and restaurants for 2024
Pub in the Park, the much-loved food and music festival curated by celebrity chef Tom Kerridge, is excited to reveal the first wave of award-winning chef hosts and restaurants for its 2024 edition. Returning to the picturesque suburbs of Marlow, Chiswick, Reigate and St Albans, this year’s festival promises an unforgettable fusion of gastronomic delights, entertainment and live music from the likes of Van Morrison. This summer’s lineup is set to be bigger and better than ever, with new chefs, new restaurants, new drinks and new experiences – celebrating the best of British pub culture across four fantastic summer weekends.
All-new chefs and restaurants
Pub in the Park 2024 welcomes a stellar lineup of chefs never before seen at the festival, poised to captivate taste buds and inspire food lovers all summer long. Among the exciting additions are Mary Berry, Gennaro Contaldo. Sabrina Gidda, Becky Excell, David Lagonell, Emily Scott, Big Has, Tom & Robert Aikens and Jeremy Chan.
Attendees can look forward to indulging in dishes from some of the UK’s best-loved restaurants, from local hotspots to far-flung nationally-renowned eateries. As well as the firm fan favourites that will be returning for 2024, this year’s festival brings bold new flavours to experience, with an exciting selection of restaurants making their Pub in the Park debut: The Abbey Inn by Tommy Banks, The Orange Public House, Hangfire BBQ, Temper and The DJ BBQ Smoker Guests can also discover some of 2024’s newly announced Top 50 UK Gastropubs, including the Star Inn, the Kentish Hare and the Bull & Last.
Pub in the Park favourites return for 2024
Back by popular demand, culinary talents from the likes of Tom Kerridge’s two Michelin-starred The Hand & Flowers, Angela Hartnett’s Michelin-starred Cafe Murano and Riwaz by Atul Kochhar will be returning to the action-packed weekend. Celebrity chefs Jose Pizarro, Michel Roux Junior, Candice Brown, Simon Rimmer, Andi Oliver, Thom Bateman and Atul Kochhar will also be returning to Pub in the Park, with more of the nation’s most acclaimed chefs and restaurants still to be announced in due course, alongside the packed programming.
A weekend of action-packed programming
As always, there’s plenty of foodie fun to get stuck into, with some brand new additions for 2024. Sunday Brunch star Simon Rimmer is set to unveil his brand new touring live music and food podcast series, Pod in the Park – an imaginary touring pub that will see Simon’s all-star lineup of friends joining him to chat all things food, drink and pubs, including Example, Mel C, Tom Kerridge, Angela Hartnett and Andi Oliver, with many more to come. Also new for this year, Angela Hartnett will be bringing her Cafe Murano Book Club to Pub in the Park, a new cookery book pavilion where you’ll be able to listen to stories behind the latest cookery books and get your hands on signed copies live by the authors.
Guests can also discover the all-new fire food restaurant next to the revamped Firepit theatre, where specialist firepit chefs including those from Temper and Hangfire BBQ Smokehouse, will be cooking and serving dishes over the open fire. For spicy food lovers, chef Jack Blumenthal and his high energy Ginger Wings team will launch the brand new Wing Rave stage, combining tasty wings with an epic lineup of DJs across each weekend.
The biggest addition for 2024 is the brand new Kitchen Studio, an unmissable arena that will welcome food chat, live Q&As, celebrity interviews, live demos and masterclasses, plus live chef challenges including an all-new foodie pub quiz with stars from MasterChef: The Professionals.
And of course, it wouldn’t be Pub in the Park without a knockout music lineup. The likes of Van Morrison, Busted, McFly, Paloma Faith, Sam Ryder, Gabrielle and Olly Murs have all been confirmed to play across the four weekends, with news on further acts still to come.
