Right at Home Mid Hampshire celebrates a year of caring for the local Bishop’s Walton community
One year after Right at Home Mid Hampshire opened their new Bishop’s Waltham office, the homecare provider continues to deliver a crucial service to the local community. The expansion to a second office was necessitated by the increasing demand to extend their highly personalised care services for older people and adults living with disabilities within the area.
Since Flick Drummond, MP for Meon Valley, opened the new office last year, Right at Home has provided hundreds of hours of professional care to its clients in Bishop’s Waltham. Right at Home’s highly trained care professionals deliver everything from personal care and companionship, through to 24-hour or live-in care within people’s own homes.
Managing Director, Nick Turner, aims to extend his support to a larger number of individuals in the region. The demand for care services has been steadily increasing, with almost 20 per cent of the local population now reaching retirement age. As a result, Nick is eager to meet this rising need and make a positive impact on more lives within the community.
“I’m proud of the positive impact we are having on our local community. It is very important to us that we deliver professional, compassionate care to our clients when they need it the most. Opening the Bishop’s Waltham office has allowed us to help more people and create jobs for the local economy,” said Nick.
“We always try to go above and beyond to support our clients. It can be an incredibly rewarding experience working in homecare. You really get to make a difference in people’s lives. We’ve come a long way in our first year, but we want to continue to grow our team and reach more people.”
Right at Home Mid Hampshire secured a glowing report from the Care Quality Commission who rated them ‘Outstanding’ for the care services they provide. Their Bishop’s Waltham office continues to be a valuable asset to the community, now and hopefully for many years to come.
