SDL Property Auctions Glitz & Glam Charity Ball: Shining bright for a good cause

SDL Property Auctions is excited to announce its forthcoming Glitz & Glam Charity Ball, an evening dedicated to raising funds for Cancer Research UK and Macmillan Cancer Support.

The event, on Saturday 23rd September in the Pavilion at the Derbyshire County Cricket Club, promises to be an unforgettable night of fun and fundraising, aimed at making a difference to those affected by cancer.

“The Glitz & Glam Charity Ball is more than just a celebration,” explains auctioneer and managing director at SDL Property Auctions Andrew Parker. “It is a heartfelt tribute to three beloved team members whom we sadly lost to cancer in 2022. Their memory fuels our determination to support those battling this relentless disease and offer support to their families during the most challenging times.”

As leaders in the auctions industry, SDL Property Auctions will naturally be holding a charity auction on the night conducted by auctioneer Andrew Parker, as well as two raffles, one featuring the generous donations of its sponsors and supporters and a second to win a Mulberry handbag worth £1,000.

“Many of us have sadly seen firsthand the devastating effects of cancer. For our team the past few years have been tough, however that has only strengthened our resolve to make a difference,” said joint organiser Jessica Royce.

“We’re determined to make it a spectacular evening full of glitz and glamour and we have lots planned to get everyone having fun and honouring the memory of those no longer with us.”

The glitz and glam-filled evening will feature a fabulous 22-piece orchestra and singers, disco and photobooth, along with a three-course meal, auction, classic raffle, and Mulberry handbag raffle.

Many of SDL Property Auctions’ customers, partners and suppliers have generously pledged their support of the event in the form of sponsorship, raffle prizes and ticket sales. Tickets for the SDL Property Auctions Glitz & Glam Charity Ball are £75 per person, raffle tickets are £5 per strip or £10 each for the Mulberry handbag.
