SpareRoom appoints astrologer to reveal where renters should live in the UK based on their star sign

Astrology has seen a boom in recent years as Gen Zs and millennials flock to hugely popular astrological apps, podcasts and TikToks to help them make big life decisions in love, money and careers. Even A-listers such as Katy Perry, Taylor Swift and the Kardashians are fans and Lady Gaga admits to consulting the stars to plan her tour.

Now the UK’s leading flatshare site SpareRoom has joined forces with eminent astrologer Marissa Malik to create the ultimate horoscope, helping Gen Zers and millennials find the best location to live based on their star sign.

This horoscope for renters was created following SpareRoom research1 that reveals three out of four (75%) people know someone who believes in horoscopes, and almost two in five (39%) of them know someone who would base a big decision on theirs.

The horoscope reveals Aries, a sign that craves excitement and adventure, could feel at home in the loud and energetic city of Liverpool, whilst the whimsical and pleasant qualities of a city by the coast would make Brighton the ideal location for Cancers. Meanwhile fierce Scorpios could find the brooding weather, artistic vibes and the rolling hills of Edinburgh to be their perfect playground.
