St. Pancras International celebrates the Coronation of King Charles III
To celebrate St. Pancras station’s strong connection with The Royal Family who regularly travel by train from and to the station (we were also opened by the late Queen Elizabeth II), the station has been transformed with abundant bunting hung across The Arcade and around the stations Circle area. Views of the glass Barlow Shed and Tracey Emin’s artwork “I want my time with you” have been transformed by the presence of the bunting. On top of that we also have the famous piano from Sir Elton John that people all over the world come to play live at the station and we will be encouraging members of the public to come to the piano and play from an exclusive list of Coronation songs in the lead up to the main day!
With shopping fit for a King, St. Pancras International is the only travel retail destination to count three Royal Warrant holders as tenants including Fortnum & Mason, Myoses Stevens and Hatchards. On offer are exclusive, handmade limited-edition bouquets from Moyses Stevens, Coronation confectionary from Fortnum & Mason and books about King Charles III and the wider Royal Family from London’s oldest book shop Hatchards.
