SUSSEX HOUSEBUILDER HELPS TO KEEP PUPILS SAFE FROM THE SPREAD OF COVID-19

Local housebuilder David Wilson Homes, responsible for the Meadowburne Place development in Lower Willingdon, has donated £250 to Willingdon Primary School to pay for necessary Covid-19 safety equipment. The donation will go towards hand sanitisers to keep the staff and pupils safe for their return to school.

Since the return to schools in March, a range of new measures and equipment are now required to help protect both pupils and their teachers. The hand sanitisers donated by David Wilson Homes will be available throughout the school and will enable Willingdon Primary School to continue educating its pupils safely during lockdown.

Gemma Roxburgh, Headteacher at Willingdon Primary School, commented: “We have worked extremely hard to ensure that everyone at our school is safe during these times, although it is unavoidably costly. We’re very grateful to the team at David Wilson Homes for their donation, as it has enabled us to invest in hand sanitisers for use throughout the school. This will allow us to continue providing the best education possible for our students, while still protecting their health and wellbeing, which is, and always will be, our priority.”

Natalie Perry, Sales and Marketing Director at David Wilson Homes, said: “It is crucial that children have access to a safe learning environment with a minimal disruption to learning, even in these difficult times. We hope our donation helps the teachers at Willingdon Primary School to continue to provide that for their students, while keeping them safe and healthy.”

David Wilson Home is building new homes at its Meadowburne Place development in Lower Willingdon, East Sussex. Currently available are a selection of three and four-bedroom homes, with prices starting from £239,995 for a three-bedroom home.
