Families looking for an incredible and unique adventure for their school holidays should look no further than The Golden Hinde’s Family Night Voyages.

The Golden Hinde, the magnificent replica Elizabethan ship docked at St Mary Overie Dock in London, is inviting families to take part in an immersive overnight experience and become the new crew of this historic ship.

The trip is ideal suited to families with children aged between 6 and 11.

Families will be given authentic Elizabethan costumes to wear during their stay and be guided by three colourful historical characters from the ship’s past, who will teach them new skills and what it takes to sail a galleon.

Guests can expect lightning quick cannon drills delivered by the ship’s Gunner, they will master navigational arts with the ship’s Master, and listen to lurid tales from the Barber Surgeon.

Parents and children will have the opportunity to bunker down for the night on the ship’s gundeck, creating memories that will last a lifetime. All children must be accompanied by adults throughout the duration of the event.

To ensure their comfort during the night, guests are asked to bring their own sleeping gear, as if it were a camping trip.

As part of this unique experience, dinner and breakfast will be provided, but if anyone in your group has food allergies, please inform us in advance, and we will make the necessary arrangements. Please note that there are no showers aboard the ship.

Tickets for the Family Night Voyage are priced at £45 per adult and £45 per child (age group: 6-11 years old).

To reserve your spot, simply purchase your tickets online or through our authorised ticketing partners. This event requires a minimum of 20 people to proceed. In the event that the minimum ticket threshold is not met, your tickets may be rescheduled to another available date or refunded.
