tastecard launches food delivery partnership with Pizza Hut
The UK’s largest hospitality membership scheme, tastecard, is adding food delivery to its portfolio by partnering with Pizza Hut Delivery. The partnership offers tastecard members 50% off pizzas as it sets out ambitious plans to disrupt the home delivery industry.
The service will allow diners to redeem 50% off pizza, when they spend £30 or more. Customers will simply need to sign up to tastecard and search for Pizza Hut Delivery to gain access to the exclusive offer.
Available across 390 Pizza Hut Delivery restaurants, tastecard is bringing the best of Italian-American cuisine to members anywhere from Brighton to Glasgow. Members can choose from favourites like the classic Stuffed Crust Pizza and Deep Pan Base Pizza.
tastecard continues to support restaurants across the UK, helping bring incremental revenues of up to 9%. With food delivery largely driving the growth of the food service industry, tastecard is diversifying its business model to fit the ever-changing consumer needs which will allow diners to enjoy offers in the comfort of their homes.
In fact, according to research by NPD Group, the ongoing popularity in food delivery services shows no signs of slowing down with a predicted spend of £656 million by UK consumers for delivery orders in 2019.
The rise of digital technology has largely contributed to these changes along with consumers demanding fine-dining meals. These new changes allow customers to compare offers and order food from a variety of restaurants, as they would do with other shopping options, with a single tap of their mobile device.
Matt Turner, founder of tastecard, said: “tastecard members have always enjoyed incredible discounts when dining out, and now we are delighted to diversify into the food delivery sector so our members will enjoy the same great discounts in the comfort of their own homes, seven days a week, which is an all-round win!”
The partnership with Pizza Hut Delivery launched across the UK on the tastecard app on 30thJanuary 2020.
