Tesla outranks Apple as the most searched for stock in 2021

New research has revealed that Tesla is the most sought out stock company for people to invest in, in 2021.

A study was conducted by leading software company Bacancy Technology. The study analysed the top 30 stocks that people are investing in the most globally in 2021, analytical data was then used to narrow it down to the ten most searched for based on Google search volumes.

The results revealed that Tesla outranks Apple and receives the highest number of Google searches per month on average in 2021 with 13 million Google searches. Apple falls into second place receiving 5,900,000 Google searches, new data reveals.

Amazon, which is one of the Big Five companies that currently dominate America’s technology industry, are ranked third most searched for stock with 3,100,000 Google searches.

Most Googled stocks globally in 2021:

BioNTech SE is ranked fourth receiving 2,990,000 Google searches. BioNTech SE are a German biotechnology company that focus on treatments of diseases.

In fifth place are Moderna Inc who are an American pharmaceutical and biotechnology company who are mostly known for contributing to developing the COVID vaccine, they have 1,700,000 Google searches.

Microsoft Inc ranks sixth place receiving 1,100,000 Google searches. MicroStrategy Incorporated are a company that provide business intelligence, mobile software, and cloud-based services, they are in seventh with 83,0000 searches per month.

After the recent outage across Facebook the stock fell by 5% as a result which puts them in eighth with 777,000 Google searches per month. Visa Inc ranks ninth receiving 239,000 Google searches.

Finally in tenth place is Coca Cola as the least searched for stock in 2021 with 231,000 Google searches per month.
