The Big Bang UK Young Scientists & Engineers Fair returns for another year
The Big Bang UK Young Scientists & Engineers Fair, the largest celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) for young people in the UK will be returning to the NEC Birmingham next year.
The event is held annually to show young people the incredible wealth of opportunities available to them in STEM careers, help them explore the possibilities and inspire the country’s future science and engineering talent.
This year will see the return of some firm favourites as well as new displays covering off everything from the worlds of robotics to life-and-death mathematical skills, and even an explanation of STEM using… food!
The award-winning event combines some of the most exciting and innovative players from the world of STEM, in a festival of stage shows, workshops and exhibits, as well as careers advice from professionals and leading employers from across the world of STEM.
It will also be a chance to check out the projects created by students from across the UK that have made it to the national finals of The Big Bang Competition, which recognises and rewards young people’s achievements in all areas of STEM.
The annual event inspires young people to consider a career in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM). The event, aimed at young people (primarily aged 11-14), takes place from 14th -17th March 2018, with school days on Wednesday to Friday and a public day on Saturday.
