Shap Swimming Pool in Cumbria takes second place with just 33 hashtags. At over 900ft above sea level, Shap Swimming Pool is England’s highest open-air heated pool. Those living nearby can relish in the fact that it will not be as busy as others.

The third most secluded lido in the UK is Buckfastleigh Open Air Pool in Devon. With 38 hashtags to date, this hidden gem is perfect for those looking for a relaxing early morning swim or a splash with the family.

Wycombe Rye Lido rounds off our list of the top ten most secluded lidos in the UK. Nestled at the bottom of the High Wycombe hills, this historic gem has been tagged only 314 times on Instagram. Apart from the fully refurbished heated pool, visitors can also enjoy the outdoor gym and tennis courts that the facility offers.
