TOWIE fave James Argent reveals new mystery girlfriend
FORMER TOWIE star James Argent has revealed that he is in a long-distance relationship.
In an exclusive interview with GB News, James also said he is still in touch with former flame Gemma Collins.
He also said he fancied a crack at Strictly or Dancing on Ice but ruled out a return to TOWIE.
He told Mark Dolan: “I feel more confident and I feel like I’m ready to potentially meet someone, like there was someone I’ve met recently who’s lovely, but she lives abroad.
“We are in contact and stuff but I’m literally like from now till the very end of August, I don’t really have a day off to be honest with you.
“So we’re gonna carry on talking and hopefully we might see each other, we’ll plan something maybe at the end of the summer, maybe September time, something like that.”
James ruled out re-kindling his romance with former girlfriend Gemma Collins and confirmed that they are friends.
He said: “Gemma’s very happy in a relationship now with Rami.
“She seems to be pretty settled and I’m very pleased for her and, yeah, I just want the best for her, for sure.”
He added: “I don’t ever have a bad word to say about Gemma and I definitely class her as a friend.
“I reached out to her recently when I found out her dad was back in hospital and had Covid and I’m sure if we had to bump into each other we’d have a right laugh and a good chat but there’s 100% no ill-feeling from either side.”
James also ruled out re-joining the cast of The Only Way Is Essex and ruled out competing in Big Brother, saying he was happy performing as a wedding singer.
“I’m pretty much done. Everything there was to do on TOWIE was covered from every single angle, from family, friends, relationships, make-ups, break-ups,” he said.
“I think people got to know me inside and out. I’m still in contact with a few of the guys that are on telly but I feel like I feel like I’ve done well to be you know, I’m no longer just that Arg from TOWIE, I’m just James Argent in my mind.
“No, my TOWIE days are definitely done but I’m still a fan of the show and I often kind of check in see how everyone’s getting on.
“Big Brother – absolutely not. That isn’t the show for me. It just wouldn’t be for me.
“I think that shows, positive shows like, I don’t know, maybe Strictly or Dancing On Ice are the sort of shows where I can perform.”
