UK SINGER-SONGWRITER SENSATION HENRY MOODIE TO PERFORM EXCLUSIVE GIG THIS JANUARY

UK singer-songwriter and TikTok sensation Henry Moodie (6 million social media followers and 160 million streams worldwide) will perform at a one-time-only exclusive gig at the University of Birmingham hosted by social platform Azar on 19 January 2024.

Spreading joy in January – the month typically dubbed as the ‘bluest’ month of the year, will welcome a gig to inspire Gen Z to make new connections, following data from Azar and Census Wide revealing that 70% of the age group experience loneliness at least once a week. Taking place at University of Birmingham, Henry Moodie’s gig will motivate users to step outside of their comfort zone and push their social boundaries through a simple download of the Azar app.

To be in with the chance to attend the one-off gig at the university, users will need to download the Azar app, start connecting with other users, and sign up for the competition through the push notifications before 15th January.

Henry, whose emotive music and TikToks have gained him global attention at the tender age of just 18, notes, “I’m part of the generation that has grown up with social media, always able to hide behind our phones and I realise how difficult it can be to connect with new people. It’s so important for me to help people my age to get out there, make memories, and develop real-life connections, and I hope this gig is the kickstarter for lots of long-standing relationships.”
