UTTOXETER HOMEBUILDER WELCOMES TOWN MAYOR TO NEW COMMUNITY

Staffordshire housebuilder Barratt Homes recently invited the Mayor of Uttoxeter to visit its brand new development in the town.

Following the eagerly-anticipated launch of its Poppy Fields development on Abbots Bromley Road, the leading developer welcomed Cllr Helen Headech for a tour of the new community.

The Mayor was greeted onsite by Barratt Homes’ Sales Manager Katie Yates, alongside Site Manager Sam Harvey and Sales Adviser, Martyn James, who were all on hand to provide an insight into the progress being made in Uttoxeter.

Cllr Helen Headech said: “It was reassuring to see homes being offered which suit people at various stages of their lives. The whole development is well laid out and care has been taken to preserve and enhance the wildlife. Poppy Fields will be a delightful place to live. I welcome everyone who comes to live here in Uttoxeter.”

As part of the visit, Cllr Headech was given a tour of the brand new show homes at the development, before taking a walk of the construction site to view the properties being built first-hand.

On the southern edge of Uttoxeter, the Poppy Fields community will accommodate a wide range of two, three and four bedroom properties for a variety of prospective buyers.

Now open to view by appointment are two fully-furnished show homes; a three bedroom Ennerdale and a four bedroom Alderney style home.

Katie Yates said: “It was a pleasure to provide Cllr Headech with a tour of our Poppy Fields development, and we’re pleased we were able to showcase the excellent progress being made here in Uttoxeter.

“We’re thrilled to be delivering a range of new properties in the town. The location has a great deal to offer, and we’re looking forward to helping new and existing residents in Uttoxeter progress on the property ladder.”

From Poppy Fields, residents can take a stroll into the town centre with ease and discover myriad essential amenities – both local and independent shops, and various cafes.

Commuters can comfortably access the A50 and A518 for travel around the midlands, with direct links to Stafford, Stoke and Derby. Uttoxeter Train Station is also in close proximity for travel to towns and cities further afield.

For a breath of fresh air, the development is well within reach of the stunning landscapes of the Peak District.

Poppy Fields currently has a selection of two, three and four bedroom properties available with prices starting from £229,995.
