Of the two, Israel is the oldest man to pose for the magazine as a star. “I feel sexier posing for Playboy at 40.”
Israel Cassol has just made history among Brazil’s LGBTQ+ audience. The host of the Empire Style program is featured on the first cover of Playboy worldwide with a Brazilian gay man in the magazine. He, who is also considered “The First Older Gender Fluid Influencer”, by the main tabloids in the world.
Israel became known worldwide by revealing his vast private collection of Hermés Birkins bags. Living in London for over 14 years, Cassol is already considered a “Brazilian-British”. Another highlight was when he spoke openly about andropause in men, where his testimony was covered in the New York Times and several other major websites. With his account, Israel was able to influence other men to appreciate the matter and seek to take care of their health.
He draws attention by his fashion style, advocating genderless fashion for years. It stands out with flashy looks like wearing skirts, bags, it’s a unique androgynous style. Israel was a forerunner of genderless fashion on social media.
An environmental activist, Israel also uses his influence to help the environment and sustainability. He was successful in combining fashion with ecology to create a mask skirt that was featured in VOGUE BRASIL.
