Spooky season is well upon us! Pumpkin-scented candles overflow supermarket shelves, the pumpkin-spiced latte has found its way to most coffee shops (and to our hearts) and Halloween-themed movies have started popping up on Netflix.

Inspired by all that, PsychicWorld.com wanted to find out which is the best Halloween movie for each star sign. They spoke exclusively to psychic Inbaal, who revealed all.

ARIES (March 21 – April 19)

The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975)

Aries have a real childlike attitude and love to watch stuff that’s fun and exciting. A fast moving production that’s not too serious will cater to their tastes. This makes the catchy music and flamboyant costumes of this horror perfect for the theatrical Aries to get into the spooky mood.

TAURUS (April 20 – May 20)

Donnie Darko (2001)

Taurus are deep thinkers and like their thrills and chills to be slow and deliberate. A psychological perspective will have them happily mulling over the plot. And what is better than a psychological thriller, following the life of a teenager who starts to see a strange bunny figure after barely escaping death.

GEMINI (May 21 – June 20)

The Den (2013)

Geminis love all things communication – video calls and social media is their lifeline! Excite and frighten them with a tech centered movie that brings together all different aspects of human interaction. A movie about a woman who becomes a witness of a murder online is a perfect match for this star sign.

CANCER (June 21 – July 22)

The Addams Family (1991)

Cancers love a sense of familiarity. They can relate better if they feel that they know the characters. A long running franchise will overjoy them, as they discover the next chapter of a much loved story, which is why the spooky Addams family is perfect for keeping Cancers company during Halloween.

LEO (July 23 – August 22)

Halloween (1978)

Leos are strong and love to show off. Their favourite movie will be the one that’s a bit much for everyone else. A bit longer than average, a bit bloodier than average, a bit scarier than most. The bloody horror all time classic promises to give this zodiac sign everything they’re looking for.

VIRGO (August 23 – September 22)

The Craft (1996)

Virgos are analytical to a fault, so it’s got to be realistic, and it’s got to be well made. A film that seems like it’s fly-on-the-wall, and that has great attention to detail, will get them to take notice. Teenagers, vengeance and witchcraft sound like the perfect ingredients for a Halloween classic that Virgos would love watching.

LIBRA (September 23 – October 22)

The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)

Libras are stylish and elegant – for them, it has to be a work of art. Powerful visuals, a message, they expect no less from their Halloween movies, than their arthouse films. Tim Burton’s lighthearted animated movie provides the perfect blend of magnificent graphics and memorable songs to mesmerise this star sign during the spooky season.

SCORPIO (October 23 – November 21)

Jennifer’s Body (2009)

Scorpios have an unusually strong disposition in terms of blood… and a real affinity for kink. A slasher with sexual elements is what they’re really looking for, making this horror comedy, revolving around a gorgeous woman who is possessed, the right movie choice for the sign.

SAGITTARIUS (November 22 – December 21)

The Exorcist (1973)

Sagittarius have a strong stomach and a sense for the unusual. They’ll appreciate the gruesome gore that others would avoid. A movie, considered by many to be one of the most terrifying movies ever made, means it’s the right Halloween watch for the Sagittarius.

CAPRICORN (December 22 – January 19)

Hocus Pocus (1993)

Capricorns are a very serious sign, so in their down-time, it’s a good idea to make them laugh. A witchy film that pokes fun at its own genre will truly let them relax into the Halloween spirit. This makes the overly dramatic characters and gripping storyline of this comedy the right fit for the zodiac sign during spooky season.

AQUARIUS (January 20 – February 18)

Aquarius are a unique sign unlike any other – they’d love to be truly creeped out. Pique their interest with a fresh perspective and an unexpected twist. A movie where a child psychologist is trying to help a boy who sees dead people is absolutely ideal to get the sign in a Halloween mood.

PISCES (February 19 – March 20)

Ghostbusters (1984)

Pisces have a great imagination, and really immerse themselves in a movie experience. Keep it light and fun, and not too scary, so that they can enjoy a relatively wholesome visual treat. Ghostbusters chasing ghosts around New York City, accompanied by a catchy theme song, will definitely do the trick.
