Zoomo opens e-bike store in Streatham to benefit South London couriers

Zoomo, the performance e-bike manufacturer and world leader in light electric last-mile delivery vehicles, opens its latest store for delivery riders and commuters. The new store, located in Streatham, will give local couriers across South London easy access to durable, safe and efficient e-bikes for conducting urban deliveries.

The Streatham store is Zoomo’s third in London (following Fulham and Bethnal Green stores), and fifth across the UK. It emphasises Zoomo’s growing influence across South London and will open access to a host of new postcodes in the surrounding area.

The new store will provide several benefits to local couriers and commuters, including:
Affordability – E-bikes are more cost-effective than traditional delivery vehicles such as cars or mopeds saving from petrol, insurance, licensing, parking, and fines.

Availability of work – E-bikes have low barriers to entry, giving more riders the ability to equip themselves as a delivery rider in a short timeframe.

Sustainability – E-bikes are sustainable and allow riders to reduce their carbon footprint.
Streatham is the perfect location for Zoomo’s latest store. Streatham has an excellent cycling infrastructure and provides easy access into central London, as well as several food and grocery ‘hotspots’ in South London such as Croydon, Brixton, Stockwell, Tooting, and Clapham.

The lack of a tube station in Streatham also meant residents were already looking for alternative methods to travel, with Zoomo providing a solution for local riders wanting to navigate the local area as well as wider London.
