Staffordshire autism charity song to hit the charts
Staffordshire Adults Autistic Society (SAAS) launches a charity song to raise more national awareness of Autism.
A young man by the name of Jack Rennie, who was recently diagnosed with Autism, came to the charity to volunteer a few weeks ago. Following conversations with the charity’s chair, Kevin Healey, he decided he would like to make a charity music video for SAAS. This would become a key means to raise awareness of autism for the charity, and what better a time to do this on the 10th anniversary of the charity, established by users with Autism in 2007.
The song called “Whatever the weather”, written by Jack Rennie and Will Roberts was recorded at the Silk Mill studios in Newcastle-Under-lyme. A music video showing the song being produced was also filmed and these will be available on iTunes & Vimeo for a small fee.
Those taking part are Callum Westbury, Kevin Healey, Chris Hollins, Kyle Snape, Sallie Kimberly, Sarah Stokes. Mark Rhind-Tutt.
Professional singer Kelly Wilde, who sang in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1990, and actress/model Dawn Lowe, joined the group to sing in this amazing charity song.
The song will be available on iTunes to buy, or the Music video can be pre ordered before the official release on the 22nd September 2017.
