Ben & Jerry’s Have Rethunk Their Iconic Chunks

Thought you liked chunks in your ice cream? Get ready for ice cream in your chocolatey chunks!

Today, ice cream innovators Ben & Jerry’s reveal their latest deliciously decadent dessert to be found exclusively in selected Scoop Shops – Rethunk Chunks! The giant Fairtrade chocolate chunks are two of their most iconic flavours – Phish Food and Cherry Garcia – in reverse.

Imagine hollow chocolate, spun into shapes which give a nod to some of Ben & Jerry’s most recognisable chunks and then packed full of Fairtrade ice cream and more swirls and toppings than you can shake a spoon at.

From August 25th, dessert adventurers can take their love of Ben & Jerry’s funky chunks to a whole other level. From chocolate lovers to fruity fanatics, there’s a Rethunk Chunk for every tastebud with two mind blowing varieties:

· The Phish: Fairtrade chocolate phish shape filled with a scoop of Ben & Jerry’s Phish Food ice cream, caramel sauce, and marshmallow creme.

· The Cherry: Fairtrade chocolate cherry shape filled with a scoop of (Scoop Shop exclusive!) Ben & Jerry’s Cherry Garcia ice cream, cherry compote, and chocolate shavings.

Fun fact: The chunks that Ben & Jerry’s ice cream is now famous for were originally dreamed up to help co-founder Ben Cohen, and his limited sense of taste and smell (known as ‘anosmia’), by giving the concoctions more texture than regular ice cream. A treat for those taste buds. 43 years later… they’re taking over!
