Lindsay Perry (39) and Adam Elder (34), along with children Freddie (2), Ronnie (2 weeks) and dogs Rolo and Lottie, chose The Edge development to upsize into a four bedroom Kempsey style home.
Originally from Buckinghamshire, and previously living in Oxfordshire, Retail Worker Lindsay and Engineer Adam decided to relocate to Worksop so they could purchase a larger home for better value.
Lindsay said: “We were looking to upsize, but to achieve this needed to find somewhere more affordable. We also were looking for a new build home for the benefits of getting to work from a blank canvas.
“Rippon Homes stood out to us as it was the only developer we saw where the homes come with flooring throughout and turf in the gardens. The staff at the development were also really friendly and helpful, making it a really easy and smooth purchasing process.
“We really liked Worksop, it’s a fantastic small town with lots of amenities nearby. Within half an hour, we have access to lots of parks, walks and plenty of attractions for family days out.
“The development was perfect for us, with lots of green space to walk the dogs. The new community at The Edge is great, all our neighbours are so friendly and helpful.”
Julie Johnson, Director of Sales and Marketing at Rippon Homes, said: “We are thrilled to hear that we have a new resident at the development, and even happier to hear that both the mother and baby are great and settling into their new home so well.
“We’re delighted to welcome Lindsay, Adam, Freddie and Ronnie to The Lodge at The Edge development which is attracting families of all ages, creating its own little community. Indeed, we have had so much interest in the next phase, The Burrows, that we only have two homes left until the next release. It’s lovely seeing the new community come together.
“We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service, so it’s great to hear how accommodating the team have been. We’re looking forward to seeing how the community grows at this exciting new development.”
Rippon Homes has just launched the second of four phases at The Edge, known as The Burrows. The phase will comprise 33 high-quality three and four bedroom homes, that blend traditional exteriors with aspirational interiors.
Ideally situated for commuters, the town allows easy access to the M1, while The Burrows at The Edge is just one mile from Worksop train station, which provides regular services to Lincoln, Leeds, Sheffield, and Nottingham.
