INFLUENCER, ENTREPRENEUR & ACTRESS ARIANNA AJTAR CELEBRATES THE COLLABORATION BETWEEN ‘MARS THE LABEL’ AND WESHOP – THE WORLD’S FIRST SHOPPING PLATFORM WHICH REWARDS SHARES IN THE COMPANY FOR EVERY PURCHASE
Former Coronation Street actress Arianna Ajtar has announced a collaboration between her fashion brand and WeShop – the world’s first shopping platform which rewards shares in the company for every purchase.
Arianna’s brand, Mars The Label, is known for its unique designs hugely popular with celebrities around the world including their signature Fishtail swimsuit, made famous by Love Island star Mary Bedford who wore the item for her Love Island debut.
And on July 27 a launch party will be held at Rosso Restaurant – partly owned by footballer Rio Ferdinand, in Manchester to celebrate Mars The Label joining WeShop, the future of online shopping.
The exclusive event will see the biggest faces in the influencer world such as XYZ along with Love Island and TV stars joining forces to celebrate the brand joining the new shopping channel. The event will feature performances from former Love Island star Wes Nelson, who will be performing his latest single along with his previous hits including TikTok favourite “Nice to meet you”. Guests will also enjoy personalised cocktails, signature Rosso canapés and a superstar Dj live set.
Arianna Ajtar, said of the venture: “Myself and the team at Mars The Label are so excited for the 27th and to be working with WeShop. I want all my friends, clients, colleagues and followers to become shareholders in WeShop by doing their existing shopping through the platform. From my first story on Instagram the response has been phenomenal and that’s before I start posting exclusive content on the platform and formally launch my profile page. Mars continues to grow quicker than I ever imagined or dreamed and I can’t thank everyone enough who have supported me on the journey. The collab with WeShop represents the start of a new chapter where I can now give my customers even more than the actual products but also shares in what could be the next Instagram.”
Chairman of WeShop Richard Griffiths said: “The 27th is a demonstration of what is possible for brands, influencers and shoppers. Mars the Label has onboarded to WeShop and Arianna will be revealing certain designs exclusive to WeShop just before the event as well as posting exclusive content. Every single one of Mars the Labels clients can now become shareholders in WeShop by buying their MTL items through WeShop. It’s that simple and also they will earn shares on everything else they buy via WeShop from a choice of 1.2bn products via all the major retailers. In addition to Mars the Label we are delighted to have Arianna as one of our founder influencers and thousands of her followers have already joined the WeShop community.”
WeShop, the world’s first shoppable social network is a revolutionary new platform which allows people to shop for everyday goods as well as luxury items whilst simultaneously owning a stake in the major new company.
The UK tech company is radically changing retail as we know it by giving away shares in the company every time a person purchases goods through any of the retailers on the WeShop platform.
WeShop’s disruptive business model is purposely designed to take on the US based tech giants one purchase at a time by sharing the wealth built up in the company with the shoppers who have created it with their very own everyday purchases.
The WeShop retail revolution is groundbreaking because it allows anyone to own shares, which will be trade-able on the stock market, by simply buying goods that they would otherwise have bought from online retailers they already purchase from.
WeShop has pledged to hand over 90 per cent of the company to its users. Initially for every purchase, 20 per cent of the price is given back to you in shares in WeShop.
This means that if you were thinking of buying a pair of £100 trainers from Amazon you can buy the same £100 trainers through WeShop from one of the hundreds of established retailers on the platform, except you will be rewarded with £20 worth of shares in the company. Simply download the app on iOS or Android and use “Weshopsocial” as the referral code to get in and start shopping.
As we all face a major cost of living crisis this is the most creative, and truly a world’s first, way of saving money. You can build a financial nest egg by simply carrying on with the same shopping habits.
In addition to purchasing, with WeShop you can also monetise the power of recommendations. Whenever anyone buys anything you have recommended on WeShop you receive 10% of the value of the product in shares. And when a WeShopper introduces a new user then the WeShopper will also get 1% of the value the new user spends on the platform.
WeShop has the biggest retailers and brands available on the app across fashion, home and décor, tech and gaming. From ASOS to NET-A-PORTER and Etsy, from The Body Shop to Holland & Barrett, B&Q to MADE.com, PC World to Carphone Warehouse, Nike to New Balance. There are also a number of independent brands coming on board on a weekly basis such as Lulu Kachoo and Bow&Bo.
