Searches for ‘how to get Eras tickets’ rise 981% after Taylor Swift tour date announcement
Analysis of Google search data reveals that online searches for ‘Eras Tour tickets’ exploded 435% worldwide just hours after Taylor Swift announced international dates for her tour, ‘The Eras Tour’.
A new finding by casino experts CasinoAlpha.co.nz revealed that online searches for ‘Eras Tour tickets’ skyrocketed to over four times the average volume in one day, after Taylor Swift, who is currently touring in the United States, announced long anticipated international tour dates for her tour, ‘The Eras Tour’.
Searches for ‘how to get Eras tickets’ also soared 981% as fans scramble to figure out the ticketing system that has been implemented, presumably to tackle the difficulty that American fans encountered when trying to secure tickets for the American leg of the tour. The international dates are set for Summer 2024, where Taylor Swift will perform in the UK, Europe and Asia.
Tudor Turiceanu, CEO for CasinoAlpha.co.nz on the findings:
“Taylor Swift is undoubtedly one of the biggest artists on the planet, with her latest tour being positioned as a culmination of each of her albums as well as the re-recordings that she currently releasing.
When tickets for the American leg of the tour went on sale, Ticketmaster and Taylor herself came under fire for how difficult tickets were to obtain, with Taylor even addressing the struggle on the opening night of her tour. These findings highlight that there will indeed be an enormous level of demand for tickets, and naturally many may miss out but with a new ticketing system put in place, hopefully the process to see Taylor Swift perform live, will be much easier for many fans.”
