Dorset tech firm celebrates fifth consecutive year of growth
Talk Think Do has reported a 64% increase in revenue, as the figure rose to £3.17m from £1.93m in 2022. The company expanded its team by 42%, increasing headcount from 24 to 34 to support overall business growth.
In 2023, Talk Think Do launched its DevOps Implementation and Custom OpenAI Development services. The pursuit of new commercial ventures resulted in the introduction of new management roles within the company; a Quality Assurance Analyst Lead and DevOps Practice Lead.

“Our aim is to continue expanding even further in 2024 as we work towards launching our new product, Codenative, which we are incredibly excited to share next year.”
Talk Think Do gained further recognition in the industry this year after becoming a Microsoft Solutions Partner. The business was previously a Microsoft Gold Partner, and achieving the new and revered accreditation demonstrates the Talk Think Do’s credibility in a highly competitive market. The company further asserted its prominent presence in the EdTech sector as it became a certified Learnosity partner.
A pivotal milestone in the business’s journey this year was its expansion into the US, having secured an office in the centre of Austin, Texas. Plans are underway to begin delivering US projects in 2024, and form part of Talk Think Do’s broader strategy plan to increase reach to international clients.
Matt added: “Our three and ten-year visions are in constant evolution, but this year, with the unprecedented rise of Gen AI, the pace and extent of that evolution has been immense. Looking ahead, the game has almost entirely changed for our sector.
“We have been assessing what services will be in demand and what skills will be required to implement our upcoming plans and products. 2023 was big, but I think it’s safe to say that 2024 is going to be even bigger for Talk Think Do.”
Talk Think Do’s success in 2023 has been nicely capped by a double award sweep for the business and employees alike at Dev Awards 2023. The business was named Employer of the Year (Small category), while Matt Dobson, Software Engineering team lead, received the All-Round Hero award for his commitment to the sector and exceptional skills.
