New data from My Car Reg Check has revealed which luxury car brands Britons are searching for the most each month, offering a clear snapshot of the UK’s appetite for high-end performance, heritage marques and ultra-luxury motoring.
Based on the latest monthly UK search data analysed by the experts at My Car Reg Check across leading luxury and hypercar manufacturers, Ferrari and McLaren emerge as the two most searched luxury car brands in the country, each attracting close to one million searches per month.
The UK’s Most Searched Luxury Car Brands (Monthly)
According to My Car Reg Check’s analysis, the most searched luxury car brands in the UK are:
McLaren – ~946,000 searches per month (+48% month-on-month)
Ferrari – ~931,000 searches per month (+8% month-on-month)
Bentley – ~548,000 searches per month
Aston Martin – ~509,000 searches per month (+8% month-on-month)
Lamborghini – ~395,000 searches per month
Bugatti – ~162,000 searches per month
Rolls-Royce – ~78,000 searches per month
Pagani – ~18,000 searches per month (+27% month-on-month)
Koenigsegg – ~17,000 searches per month (+11% month-on-month)
While Ferrari remains a global luxury icon, McLaren’s sharp rise in UK searches makes it the fastest-growing luxury car brand this month, pointing to renewed domestic interest driven by performance credentials, motorsport heritage and recent model attention.
What UK Search Behaviour Reveals
The data highlights a clear distinction in how British consumers engage with luxury cars:
Performance-led brands dominate search volume, with Ferrari and McLaren far ahead of the rest.
British marques remain strong at home, with Bentley and Aston Martin both attracting over half a million searches per month.
Ultra-luxury and hypercar brands such as Rolls-Royce, Pagani and Koenigsegg see far lower volumes, but with higher-intent, more considered search behaviour.
A spokesperson for My Car Reg Check said:
“UK luxury car searches reflect a balance between aspiration and heritage. Ferrari and McLaren dominate attention at scale, while British brands like Bentley and Aston Martin continue to hold strong domestic appeal. At the other end of the spectrum, hypercar brands attract smaller but highly intentional interest, often linked to collectors rather than casual browsing.”
Why Search Data Matters
Unlike registrations or sales figures, search data captures real-time curiosity, intent and aspiration, making it a useful early indicator of consumer interest — particularly in the luxury segment, where research often precedes ownership by months or even years.
My Car Reg Check says the findings suggest Britain’s fascination with luxury performance cars remains strong heading into 2026, despite broader economic pressures.
