PITTSMEAD GRANGE CELEBRATES THE ANNIVERSARY OF V E DAY
This week at Pittsmead Grange Care Home, we came together to celebrate VE Day with a wonderful afternoon in the garden. Residents enjoyed a delicious buffet, lovely music, and plenty of laughter and fun shared with friends and staff.
VE Day marks the end of World War II in Europe and for many of our residents, this day holds deep personal meaning, with memories, stories, and reflections that are an important part of their lives and history. Celebrating together gives us the opportunity to honour those experiences and share in a moment of remembrance and gratitude.
It was a truly special afternoon filled with warmth, reflection, and community spirit. Thank you to everyone who helped make the day so memorable.
