Three Taylor Wimpey Midlands site managers ranked among UK’s top 6% after national awards win

Three Taylor Wimpey Midlands site managers have been named among the best in the UK after winning prestigious Pride in the Job 2026 Quality Awards from the National House-Building Council (NHBC).

Julian Foster, Jamie Wood, and Alex Toher were recognised for their outstanding work at Appledown Gate in Keresley, Abbey Grange in Evesham, and The Asps in Warwick, and for their commitment to excellence in site management and build quality.

The awards place all three site managers in the top six per cent of site managers nationwide, with just 450 winners selected from thousands of entrants across 7,500 sites.

Widely regarded as the ‘Oscars’ of the house-building industry, Pride in the Job celebrates site managers who demonstrate exceptional standards, best practice, and leadership on site. Judging is highly rigorous and focuses on quality, consistency, and technical excellence.

Jamie, Senior Site Manager at Abbey Grange in Evesham, said: “This is my 4th Pride in the Job Award and the most important one for me and my team so far. To be within the top 6% of Site managers within the UK is fantastic. This is down to the sheer hard work from me and all my site team.”

Julian, Senior Site Manager at Appledown Gate in Keresley, has won his 20th Pride in the Job Award, he said: “This award is testimony to everyone’s hard work on site to produce high quality homes for our homeowners.”

Alex, Site Manager at The Asps in Warwick, has won his first Pride in the Job Award, he said: “I am extremely proud of the hard work and dedication our team has shown in achieving such a prestigious award.”

The Quality Award winners will now go on to compete for Seal of Excellence and Regional Awards in the autumn, with the national Supreme Award winners to be unveiled in January 2027.
