A new era in eyecare: Eyoto showcases revolutionary automated and fully remote digital slit lamp at major US and UK shows
Medtech company Eyoto will debut its revolutionary Aetheia machine, the world’s only automated and fully remote, 4K slit lamp, at two major trade shows.
Eyoto will be showcasing Aetheia on both sides of the Atlantic at 100% Optical from 28th February – 2nd March at Excel London, UK, and at Vision Expo with DigitalOptometrics from 11th – 14th March in Orlando, US.
Aetheia is an automated 4K digital slit lamp that uses AI-enabled automation to allow non-clinically trained staff to record any exam procedure required for asynchronous clinical review, or offer full remote control allowing clinicians to deliver expert eyecare from anywhere in the world.
Designed to provide consistent, high-quality assessments across multiple sites and in various care settings, Aetheia helps providers expand access to eyecare, improve workflow efficiency and enhance patient experience through more scalable and sustainable service models.
Powered by Eyoto’s Auto-Optometry™, Aetheia delivers sharp, consistent images with minimal operator input. It reduces training requirements and reliance on locum staff, while freeing clinicians to focus on diagnosis and treatment, rather than image acquisition.
The company will be giving regular live demonstrations throughout both shows to showcase how high-resolution imaging and AI-enabled automation is helping clinicians to deliver faster, smarter and more precise eye examinations.
Aetheia is available in two variants, both featuring Eyoto’s Auto-Optometry™:

Aetheia:Remote; enables ophthalmologists and optometrists to perform detailed eye examinations from anywhere, controlling every aspect of the device in real time while a local on-site technician assists the patient.
