Automated lettings platform PlanetRent agrees partnership with Viewber

As the UK enters lockdown 2.0, automated lettings platform PlanetRent continues to grow and has partnered with leading PropTech firm Viewber to offer clients immediate access to an online nationwide database of thousands of vetted viewing assistants, this comes as renting and moving is still on the allowed activity list.

The partnership is vital for PlanetRent clients challenged by lockdown restrictions and unable to let buyers, tenants and contractors into their properties.

Viewing assistants can be instructed seven days a week and are also able to carry out other services such as inspections and photography if and when needed.

The partnership means all PlanetRent clients will have access to Viewber, with a profile and account automatically made for them to save them the hassle of signing up.

PlanetRent will display any user enquiries that feed directly from the PlanetRent website. This means that if users can’t make a viewing, or want to arrange a block viewing, then Viewber is just a click away.

PlanetRent, which automates key processes in the lettings process such as compliance and marketing, has been developed in-house by residential property consultancy The Ringley Group.

The Ringley Group manages thousands of homes across the country and has invested over £2 million in creating a suite of technological solutions for the residential market, including PlanetRent.

Viewber has become a useful ‘dip-in, dip-out’ service for busy real estate professionals looking to offer continuous high-levels of service to their clients.

They provide services for a range of real estate professionals, including; estate agents, property managers, letting agents, auctioneers, landlords, investors, housing associations and development agents.

The partnership with PlanetRent will enable users to directly access the platform in a seamless manner.

The announcement comes in the same month as PlanetRent unveiled its partnership with LegalforLandlords to support landlords with legal advice, and just one month after its partnership with The360View to offer users virtual property tours.

All three partnerships will assist property professionals in navigating their way through the challenges of the second national lockdown.

Mary-Anne Bowring, group managing director at Ringley and creator of PlanetRent, said:

“We’re absolutely delighted to unveil our partnership with Viewber, which will enable our clients to access a huge database of high-quality viewing assistants with ease.

“Landlords and agents who use PlanetRent will now have a Viewber profile and account already made for them.

“The second lockdown will affect everyone in some way, so we’re delighted to be able to offer this service and to make our clients’ lives that bit easier.”
