Award Winning British Writer, Director and Producer James Hastings signs to Eggman Global Agency

British writer, director and producer James Hastings first turned industry heads when he set up independent production company ‘Hastings Infinity Films’ at the age of 12. He has since worked on numerous award-winning projects.

His first feature, Raymond’s 5, funded through a successful Kickstarter campaign, earnt a spot on Amazon Prime. Following in the footsteps of his hero, iconic film maestro Steven Spielberg, Raymond’s 5 was screened at a local cinema, with profits used to fund his next film.

As one of the year’s and Festival’s youngest filmmakers, James attended the Cannes Film Festival in 2016 with his short film, The Distance. He won the Inspiring Young Filmmaker Award at the Global Youth Awards in 2017 and recently directed short films Off The Coast and Slightly Red Handed. Hastings is currently writing, directing and producing his next feature film, Jim’s Private War, a coming-of-age drama set in WW2 Britain.

Eggman Global Agency continues to build in strength with signings to their agency across the media circuit. Recent high-profile additions include YouTube Sensation/Influencer Graeme Parker, The Hoof GP, who with 1 million Subscribers (the largest in the world in the Agriculture space) has enlisted EGA’s bestselling author Steve Eggleston and Michael Powell to pen his upcoming book, represent for motion picture and television series.

Legendary music producer Steve Thompson (7 Grammys, 150+ Diamond, Gold and Platinum records) also recently joined the agency with several hot irons in the fire, including collaborations on his upcoming tell-all biography, Appetite for Production, and Motion Picture and Television projects.
